Board, stating that a decision has been made by the N.R.C. to drop E the safety, health and environmental review of the Bataan nuclear plant. M Es

Doubts have been expressed in the past regarding the safety of the E plant which were heightened during the hearings of the Puno Commission g concerning: 5

1. potential earth faults very near the plant as reported by the 5 Bureau of Mines; ==

2. the inadequacy of the design of 0.4g SSE of the plant which TEE should be 0.7g SSE according to the National Society of @

Structural and Earthquake Engineers of the Philippines; and
