The State of Kansas recently requested and received permission to intervene in the pending licensing proceeding involving the Vermont Yankee Nuclezr Power Corporation, Docket No. 50-271.

We intend to also request similar permission to intervene in a similar proceeding involving Consumers Power Company Project at F.idland, Michigan.

Ne understand that the AEC, in view of the Calvert Cliffs decision, ls in the procecs of revising its procedure regulations in such iake.
