Consumers Power Company Docket Nos. 50-329:

50-330 I have been orally informed that, because of a lack of quorum, the Commission this morning referred to the Appeal Panel a " Motion for Stay of Orders -in the Light of Changed Circumstances", a " Motion for Immediate-Suspension of

' Construction" and related pleadings.

These motions relate to the continuation of remand

_ proceedings before a Licensing Board in the' light of the grant of certiorari by the Supreme Court in Aeschliman v.

NRC. -Those. remand pr'oceedings are now scheduled to reconvene-in Chicago on Monday, March 21 at 1:30 P. - M.

(

Chicago time.

We request the Appeal Board to. preliminarily l review the.' pleadings and-to-stay the hearing'now-scheduled

to begin on' Monday.at least until it has an opportunity to-take such further action-as it_ deems necessary.
