Dear Mr. Alexander:
This is in partial response to your letter dated March 19,.1981, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Inforn:ation Act, copies of records relating to Cleveland Electric Illuminating Co's Perry I and.
II Nuclear Plant, Docket Nos. 50-440 and 50-441.
In September 1973 the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (NRC) established an NRC Local Public Document Room (LPDR) in the Perry Public Library, 3753 Main Street, Perry, Ohio. Appendix A is a listing of the categories of information which are on file in the LPDR.
The purpose of the L?DR is to provide a local source of access to all publicly available agency records relating to the Perry facility. The records subject to your request are contained in the " Hearing," " Applicant Correspondence,"
" License and Construction Permit," and " Environmental" files. All records in the LPDR are available for public inspection and copying.
