Dear Mrs. Thomson:
This will confirm your telephone conversation with Sandra Schlosser of this office on March ll,1981, at which time Ms. Schlosser told you that we were officially closing the local public document room (LPOR) for the proposed Greenwood Nuclear Power Plants. As you know, Detroit Edison Company has concelled plans to build the plants.
As Ms. Schlosser discussed with you, we do not need to have the Greenwood material returned to us as the official file copy is being retained by the Office of Administration here in our Bethesda, Maryland, offices.
Please feel free to keep any or all of the LPDR document collection. However, you may decide not to retain any LPOR material and, if that is the case, the documents may be disposed of.
I would like to take this opportunity of thank you and the staff of the St.
Clair County Library for your help over the years with the local public document room collection; you have played an important part in our program.
