earthern berm constructed by U. S. Ecology around the perimeter of the chemical waste disposal site at Sheffield, Illinois. The NRC is in the process of evaluating the potential for interaction between chemical and radioactive waste at'Sheffield.

The engineering properties of the earth berm around the chemical disposal site will
