This is in regard to your letter dated March 23, 1981, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, copies of all
" exceptions, alternatives, or clarifications" which nuclear utilities, nuclear steam system suppliers and architect / engineers have been granted -
for operations or construction QA programs.
This information is not routinely compiled into a single report or other.
document which we could make available to you.
Instead, information on exceptions, alternatives, or clarifications is. located in the voluminous Preliminary Safety Analysis Reports (PSAR) and Final Safety Analysis Reports (FSAR) filed in the docket files for all pending applications and the more than 70 operating nuclear plants.
