'Ihe Tennessee Valley Authority ('IVA) is currently using the EPICOR, Inc.,
demineralizer system for water cleanup at our Sequoyah Nuclear Plant unit 1.
The use of this system will yield spent resin contained in EPICOR's 180-cubic-foot liners. We therefore request an amerxtrent to Certificate of Ccrcpliance No. 6722 allowing TVA to carry the EPICOR liner (drawing number 34007 enclosed) in our cask. 'Ihe EPICOR liner is 1/4-inch carbon steel coated inside and cutside with epoxy.
TVA requests the amendment to Certificate of Carpliance No. 6722 as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please contact P. J. Hammons of ntf staff at FIS 857-2584.
