This letter is a follow-up to the interim response dated December 30, 1980 regarding IE Bulletin 80-23. In this letter, additional rev'.aw was required from General Electric'to. determine the applicability of this Bulletin to the-Zimmer Station.

General Electric has co=pleted their review and concluded that no Valcor So'.enoid' Valves as identified in IE Bulletin 80-23 were used in the NSSS portion o'. the equipment on the Zimmer Pro ct.

This information in conjunction with the infor ation transmitted in our December 30, 1980 response conicudes that no Valcor Solenoid Valves as iden-tified in IE Bulletin 80-23 were used in safety-related syste=s at the WM. H. ZIMMER NUCLEAR POWER STATION - UNIT'l.

With regards to the question raised in your cover letter of November 14, 1980, please be advised that to date approximately 30 man-hours have been expanded in the

-review and preparation of this response.
