The Commission was briefed on the contents of the PEIS on the decontamination of TMI-2. The Comission deferred final decision on issuance of a policy statement on the PEIS pending an additional chance to review the PEIS. The Commissioners will circulate their coments to a propos2d policy statement.

The Con 11ssion requested that they be provided with proposed language to delegate, to the Director, NRR, the nN essary authority to proceed with authorization of the cleanup steps at TMI-2.
