20555 JOSEPH M. FARLEY NUCLEAR PLANT - UNIT 1 SNUBBER TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Dear Mr. Eisenhut:
Your letter dated November 20, 1980 to All Power Reactor Licensees requested that a license amendment application be submitted within 120 days regarding Technical Specification Revisions for Snubber Surveillance.
Alabama Power Company requests an extension of the 120-day time period because numerous changes to Table 3.7-4 have been identified as a result of the I. E.Bulletin 79-14 effort. This work was just completed during the outage which will be terminated the week of March 15-21, 1981.
Alabama Power Company requests this extension so that a complete and accurate version of Table 3.7-4 may be submitted. The proposed snubber Technical Specification amendment will be submitted as a part of the Technical Specification revision needed to upgrade the Unit 1 specification to be compatible with the Unit 2 specification which is scheduled to be filed within the next month.
