Dear Sir:
Your letter of January 23, 1981 forwarded a request for additional information on the Guard Training and Qualification (T&Q) Plan for d e Trojan Nuclear Plant submitted in August, 1979.
Inasmuch as Revision 4 to the Trojan Nuclear Plant Security Plan, the Contingency Plan, was approved by the NRC subsequent to the submictal of the T&Q Plan, and approval of Revision 5 to the Trojan Security Plan, which was sumitted subsequently to the T&Q Plan, is imminent, additional time to respond to the request for information is requested in order to revise the T&Q Plan to be consistent with the Trojan Security Plan.
Telephone conversations with Barry Manili in the Division of Safeguards, Office of Nuclear Materials Safety and Safeguards, have indicsted that one submittal containing all of the appropriate revisions to the T&Q Program would be desirable. An agreed-upon date for the submittal of May 1 was reached. We are proceeding to revise the T&Q Program to reflect your request for additional information in yo*r letter of January 23, 1981, and to reflect changes resulting from 3evisions 4 and 5 of the 50o3 s
