DEMONSTRATION FUEL BUNDLES Frrty-five copies of the approved version of the report NEDO-24259-A, " Generic Information for Barrier Fuel Demonstration Bundle Licensing", are being provided in accordance with your request and procedures.
The report contains your letter of acceptance along with the report evaluation.
The additional information requested is included as appendices.
As Dr. Tokar was informed during a telephone conversation, the nominal bundle average enrichments were changed 1 or 2 one-hundredths of a percent to correctly reflect the actual average enrichments.
Progress toward beginning the demonstration during Cycle 6 in Unit 2 of the Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station is continuing.
In a letter of January 23, 1981 to Mr. D. G. Eisennut, Mr. J. S. Abel of the Commonwealth Edison Company confirmed their intentions to perform the required on-line monitoring and the post-irradiation examinations.
