Dear Sir:

QM We have re-evaluated the information reported by telephone on 6/4/73 to the Directorate of Regulatory Operations, concerning the inadvertent delay in performing a surveillance test and we hereby withdraw the report from consideration as an Abnormal Occurrence.

Our decision is bc ed upon a review of plant conditions when the pump was removed from service (full power) as compared to conditions during the second 72 hour8.333333e-4 days <br />0.02 hours <br />1.190476e-4 weeks <br />2.7396e-5 months <br /> surveillance interval (plant shutdown, sub-critical, plant cool down in progress).

The requirement for testing the High Pressure Safety Injection Pump no longer existed with the plant shutdown.
