Dear Ms. Logan:
I am writing in response to your postcard to Chairman Ahearne recommending establishment of a Citizens' Advisory Group to oversee cleanup of TMI.
The NRC has recently established an Advisory Panel for the ')econtamination of Three Mile Island, Unit 2.
The Panei was fomed to consult with and provide advice to the Comission on major activitics required to accomplish expeditious and safe cleanup of the TMI-2 facility.
Meetings of the Advisory Panel are open to the public. The next meeting is currently scheduled for December 18, 1980, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the William Penn Museum, Third and North Streets, Harrisburg, PA.
