i Since the: Containment atmosphere gaseous radioactivity monitor and the containment sump discharge flow measurement system were operable, the health and safety of the general public were not affected.

Cause of Event

'The filter paper drive motor failed due to overheating.

J Immediate Corrective Action-A maintenance report was written and the motor was replaced.

Subsequently the radiation monitor was placed back into service.

Scheduled Corrective Action The. engineering staff-is evaluating this problem.

Actions Taken to Prevent Reccurrence No actions are required.
