Enclosed is a copy of the " Notice of Consideration of Application for Renewal of Amended Facility Operating License " which is being filed with the Office of the Federal Register for publication. The notice relates to your application, dated June 13, 1979, for a license amendment to renew Amended Facility Operating License No. R-33 for your Nuclear Test Reactor.
The expiration date for this license was July 21, 1979. Since your application was submitted at least 30 days prior to the expiration date of your license, you have satisfied the requirements of 10 CFR Part 2, Section 2.109, entitled "Effect of Timely Renewal Apolication."
Accordingly, pursuant to 10 CFR 2.109, the existing license will not be deemed to have expired until the application has been finally determined.
