SETTLEMENT STATUS REPORT OF TEXAS UTILITIES GENERATING COMPANY
" Pursuant to the August 13, 1980 Order establishing the schedule for further proceedings in these matters, Texas Utilities Generating Company ("TUGCO") respectfully.
submits this report on the status of settlement negotiations among the.various parties.
Since the filing of the last status report, TUGCO, the NRC Staff and the Department of Justice have.

engaged.in a series of intensive negotiations which, TUGCO is pleased to report,-resulted'in agreement which will, upon approval of this Board, dispose of all issues in the Comanche Peak proceeding.

-The License Conditions (which, together with the attached Stipulations, are hereby lodged with the Board) will, without the necessity for further hearing, insure that issuance of a license for the operation of Comanche Peak will not create or maintain a situation inconsistent with the antitrust laws or the policies thereunder in accordance with the standards set forth in Section 105 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954.
