The contentions admitted by the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board (ASLB)

include questions regarding projected effects on health of personnel and

their families due to occupational exposure to radiation and of the effect on the general population. The need for testimony at the hearing with regard to these contentions was discussed with W. E. Kreger and with "E~
Frank Congel during your absence some weeks ago. At that time it.was agreed that either R. L. Gotchy or E. F. Branagan of your branch would be nade available to furnish this assistance.
This memorandum constitutes a formal rqquest for this assistance.
