Dear Mr. Schwencer:

In the Matter of the Application of

)

Docket No. 50-328 Tennesse, Valley Authority

)

My letter to you dated October 3, 1980, submitted our test report for Sequoyah Nuclear Plant unit 1 on verification of the adequacy of calculations for the ao auxiliary power system. In that letter, we stated that TVA did not believe testing of this nature for Sequoyah unit 2 would provide any additional benefit. We discussed this issue with J. Knox of your staff cn April 2, 1981. During that discussion, it was agreed that the subject testing would not provide any additional benefit. Therefore, we do not intend to conduct the subject testing at Sequoyah unit 2.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with D. L. Lambert at FTS 857-2561.

Very truly yours, TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY M
