Dear Mr. Youngblood:
The following information is provided in response to NRC staff questions raised on February 20, 1981, regarding the LaSalle County response to NUREG-0737 contained in Appendix L of the FSAR.
This letter documents clarification provided the staff (Mr.
T.
Collins on February 20, 1981).

Item II.K.3(17) Reporting of ECCS Outages The response on this item contained in Section L.34.10 of Appendix L will be revised to indicate that ECCS outages will normally va' reported unter the Licensee Event Report (LER)
System.
In aodition, a ummary of such outages will be included in the Annual Report sutmitted under the provisions of Technical Specification Section e.5_
2.
Item II.K.3(27) Common Water Level Reference As was indicated in Reference (a), the LaSalle County response to Section L.34.17 will be revised to document the commitment to provide a common water level reference.
This commitment will be implemented prior to fuel loading on LaSalle County Unit 1.
