SUBJECT:

U. S. EPA (ORP) ATTENDANCE AT NRC'S WORKS 4

ON THE EDGEMONT CLEANUP ACTION PROGRAM On January 15, 1981, Mr. J. B. Martin telephoned Dr. D. Rosenbaum to request that Dr. S. Lichtman of the ORP staff attend the NRC's Workshcp on the Edgemont Cleanup Action Program to be held in Denver, C0 on January 21 and 22,1981.- Dr. Rosenbaum stated that no one from the headquarters staff would be able to attend due to limitations on travel funds. However, two representatives from the ORP-Las Vegas Facility (J.' Thrall and D. Bernhardt) would be able to attend the Workshop as the EPA's representatives. Dr. Ro:enbaum noted that the Las Vegas staff rather than headquarters staff had the preponderance of field experiences and would be more appropriate EPA representatives for the Workshop.
