Dear Mr. Grier:
The inspection program of the installed pipe hanger support pins described I
in reference c) has been modified as a result of further engineering evaluation of the hanger pins being rejected by the visual inspection process.
i The modification is that after visually rejected pins are replaced, the rejected pins are then subjected to material analysis testing.
If the material analysis identifies the incorrect (A-36) material, the batch / lot from which this pin came is then rejected and as stated in reference c), the entire batch / lot will be 100% inspected, l
