'de are writing this letter as per instructions in your letter of 14 January 1931 in which you advised us that our reply of 23 December 1050 to your " Notice of Violation," dated 9 December 1950, was not ecmplete for two reasons:
1) the response was not submitted under oath or affirmation, and 2) we did not explain what steps have been taken to avoid similar violations.
The following is our reply to the " Notice of Violation" that you sent to us dated 9 December 1930.
/ 1.
On 16 December 1930 the five (5) curie Plutonium 239 source was leak tested and the results were recorded in units of microcuries.
The results of all future leak tests will also be recorded in units of microcuries.
This brings us in compliance with License Cendition 13.D.

The personnel monitoring report for the years 1975 and 1970 has been submitted to the NRC with a letter dated 20 November 1050.
This brings us in compliance with 10 CFR 20.107 In order to avoid similar violations, the Radiation Safety Officer at the University will cenduct an annual review of our license conditions and requirements to assure that we are in compliance with each condition.
He will also conduct a semi-annual inventory of our sealed sources to assure that each is leak tested and that the results are recorded in the proper manner.
