This is in response to your letter of January 13, 1981 in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, copies of memoranda of understanding bet veen the Nuclear Regulatory Comission (NRC) and other named agencies regarding nuclear threats.

The attachment to your letter is the most recent Memorandum of Understanding between the NRC and the FBI.

In addition, we have referred similar documents to the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the Department of Energy (DOE) for releasability determination and response to the NRC.
