Emergency Preparedness Exercises and Drills

Dear Sir:

Your letter, reference (b) requested information to enable you to make an assessment of our implementation of the emergency exercise requirement, 10 CFR 50. Appendix E,Section IV, F.

This exercise must be conducted before April 1,1982.

In compliance with this requirement, Maine Yankee and the Maine Bureau of Civil Emergency Preparedness have scheduled an I

emergency plan exercise for Friday, September 25, 1981.

Maine Yankee will provide scenarios two weeks prior to this exercise l

as requested.
