Licensing Branch No. 2, DL
SUBJECT:
CCMPRESSIVE STRENGTH TESTS FOR D-MIX CCNCRETE AT LIMERICK GENERATING STATION On September 24, 1980 Philadelphia Electric Company transmitted Amendment 24 to their Preliminary Safety Analysis Report.
This Amendment is similar to %nendment 22 to the PSAR which requested accep-tance testing for 5000 psi concrete (D-Mix) be perforned at 90 days. Amend-ment 22 was not accepted by the staff.
In Amendment 24 the same testing schedule is proposed for 5000 psi concrete, i.e. 90 days.
It is my understanding that 90 day testing has been approved for Susquehanna Steam Electric Station.
It is requested that you review Amendment 24 and advice me of its acceptability.
