Clinton Power Station Units 1 & 2 Docket Nos. 50-461 and 50-462 Construction Permits No. CPPR-137 & CPPR-138 This is in reply to your letter of November 6, 1980, whereby you forwarded IE Bulletin No. 80-21 which reported on the failures of some valve yokes supplied by Malcolm Foundry Co., Inc.

Please be advised that Illinois Power is still pursuing the initial determination on valve parts required by item 1 of the bulletin.

Some of our vendors investigations are still not complete.

We propose to provide a complete response to the bulletin action items by the end of February 1981.
