Docket No. 50-358

Dear Mr. Barth:

Enclosed are the Applicants' responses to your second set of interrogatories on the evacuation time study sub-mitted in response to the letter from Mr. Grimes, dated December 26, 1979. Our response was submitted last summer.

As you knew, the evacuation plan submitted for Zimmer was determined to be " adequate" by the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation on December 9, 1980.

For this reason, we were surprised that on the same date further interrogatories were issued by the Office of the Executive Legal Director requesting these additional details. Because the status of the emergency plan is the last contention to resolve in this entire proceeding, I wish to reiterate our continued offer to meet with the Staff at any time to provide information and to resolve any questions it may have concerning the emergency plan or any other facet of the proceeding.

Sincerely,

/
