1. Thermal llydraulic LHFBR Safety Experiments 1.1 Ilydrodynamic Characteristics of Two-Phase Dispersed Systems (T. Cinsberg, J.

Klages, G. Zimmer, Y. Sanborn; J. Chen, Lehigh University)

The preliminary experiments designed to evaluate the effect of injector tube disturbances on two phase pool flow have been completed. Void fraction and pressure profiles have been measured in the bubbly test column, with and without injector tubes. Data. reduction and analysis are underway.

1 1.2 Fuel Relocation Studies (G.A. Greene)

A draft of the final report entitled " Freezing of Multiphase Mixtures Flow-ing Downward in Circular Tubec" by G. A. Greene, was transmitted to D. Basdekas.
