1. Thermal Hydraulic LMFBR Safety Experiments 1.1 Dispersion in Internally Heated Boiling Pools (T. Cinsberg, H. Makowitz)

Work continued on preparation of the report on the feasibility of using microwave heating in boiling pool studies. A first draft is nearly complete.

1.2 HCDA Bubble Energetics (T. Ginsberg; G. Moszynski, University of Delaware)

The informal report " Liquid Entrainment by an Expanding Gas or Vapor Bub-ble - A Review of Experiments and Models," BNL-NUREG-28343, was issued.

1.3 Heat Transfer in Internally Heated Pools,(G.A. Greene)

A report summarizing the experiments and analysis of natural convection heat transfer from internally heated non-boiling liquids to vertical and in-clined boundaries was completed.
