1.1 Dispersion in Internally IIcated Boiling Pools (T. Cinsberg,11. Makowitz)

A report which summarizes all the analytical work related to microwave heating of boiling liquids is in preparation.

1.2 IICDA Bubble Energetics (T. Ginsberg; J. Moszynski, Univ. of Delaware)

The report " Liquid Entrainment by an Expanding Gas or Vapor Bubble - A Re-view of Experiments and Models," was issued. Copies of the report were mailed to D. Basdekas on 9/24/80.

1.3 Fuel Relocation Studies (G.A. Greene)

A final report entitled, " Freezing of Multiphase Mixtures Flowing Downward in Circular Tubes," was transmitted to NRC. The report includes a comprehen-sive review of the fuel freezing literature.

1.4 Ileat Transfer in Internally Heated Pools (G.A. Greene; S.M. Reilly, MIT)

Analysis of local void data in volume-boiling pools continued. Scoping studies of interaction of pools with wall melt began.
