ECNP CONCURRENCE WITH INTERVENORS' MEMORANDUM ON DIECKAMP LETTER OF 1/6/81 On January 13, 1981,' Steven C. Sholly, pro se, Intervenor, filed
~
a timely memorandum concerning a letter dated January 6,1981, from the President of the Suspended Licensee's parent company, General Public Utilities Company. Mr. Sholly's memo was submitted on behalf of six intervenors in the above captioned proceeding, including the Environmental Coalition on Nuclear Power (ECNP).
In the memo he states that time con-straints precluded obtaining signatures of all parties to the memo but that he had obtained telephone authorization to file the memorandum.
ENP here states that it does concur with the contents of Mr. Sho11y's memorandum and had so authorized him to file it on our behalf.
Because transcripts are no longer being made available to intervenors, ECNP here requests the Board to withdraw its policy of ruling from the bench and providing schedules from the bench in this proceeding. ECNP asks the Board, in fairness to theTarties, to provide a written schedule for the coming weeks and months in order that filing and cross-examination dates will be known more than the 24 hours2.777778e-4 days
0.00667 hours
3.968254e-5 weeks
9.132e-6 months
notification that has occurred in the past. ECNP notes that it has only this day, January 15, 1981, r*-
ceived notification from the Board of, the December 3,1980, opinion of the Comptroller General of the United States concerning the NRC's pro-cedural cost reduction program. The last transcript made available to us was dated November 26, 1980, as has been noted to the Commission.
