Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

0FFICE OF INSPECTION AND ENFORCEMENT BULLETIN 80 RII:JP SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT UNIT 1 In response to your letter dated November 14, 1980, which transmitted IE Bulletin 80-23 on Failures of Solenoid Valves Manufactured by Valcor Engineering Corporation, it has been determined that Sequoyah Nuclear Plant unit 1 does not have the subject valves with the make and part numbers described in the bulletin.

As requested in your letter dated November 14, 1980, we estimate that TVA employees expended 45 manhours in conducting the review and preparing the correspondence required to comply with this bulletin.
