The FitzPatrick Plant has conducted a review of records pertaining to the procurement of valves used on safety-related systems.

To date, this review has not identified any valves having parts cast by the Malcolm Foundry Company, Inc.

It should be noted that this review, while substantially complete, is not expected to be complete until approximately January 5, 1981. Should the few remaining areas of the review result in the identification of valves using the referenced potentially defective parts, your office will be informed and the actions required by Paragraphs 2 and 3 of the subject bulletin will be taken.
