At 0000 on December 19th, radiation monitor HPR-220 was placed in defeat due to an instrument malfunction. Th1s defeated the automatic actions required by Recovery Ops Plan 4.7.7.l(e) 2 in that a radiation signal would not place the Control Roo:a ventilation into recirculate.
