Responses.to.the enclosed quettions are needed for us to complete our review. Although the. reload package was submitted in September, Reactor Systems was.not. asked to participate in the review until the last week of November. Therefore tilis 1.s an expedited review and the questions have been informally transmitted.to the licensee through the project manager to facilitate a rapid response..

Questions on NECO-24085-1
- 1) Are 3 cr J SRV's assumed cperable for the LOCA analysis? If 4, provice curves showing the improvement in going from 3 to 4
- 2) Discuss input values which cause MAPLHGR slepe to change drastically beycnd 30,C00 WD/T burnup.
- 3) Fig. 2, p. 5 J shows no apparent cnange in slope between adiacatic heat-up period following uncovery of hign pcwer axial planes and period with spray cooling. Please explain.
- 4) Pig. 9
- p. 5-11/12 shows '"< inks" in PCT curve during adiacatic heat-up period.
