This letter is intended to update our interim report dated October 24, 1980, relative to the actuator springs on the ITT AH/NH 90 Series actuators supplied with the dampers purchased from American Warming & Ventilating, Inc. (AWV).

AWV has advised that further rework on site by ITT consisting of further readjustments, will be required, thus our estimated date of December 31, 1980 for closing this item is no longer valid. Sargent & Lundy has approved the ITT engineering report concerning this item, but the on-site visit by ITT-to perform the readjustment has not been scheduled. We will keep you apprised of significant developments as they occur.

We trust that the above will constitute an acceptable interim status report on this item.
