Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
On November 26, 1980, Mr. Bob McFarland of NRC Region II was notified of a potential significant deficiency on the subject: Seismic Installation Not In-spected. The report was made by Mr. J. A. Wactor.
The equipment involved is non-safety related relay cabinets in the relay room. The cabinets were required to be seismically counted sine.e there are safety related cabinets in the same room. There was no documentation that the installation had been inspected.
The cabinet mountings have been reinspected, and some minor discrepancies are being evaluated by structural engineering. The evaluation is expected to be complete by January 23, 1981, and a final report issued thereafter.
