Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
On December 2, 1980, Mr. John K. Rausch of NRC Region II was notified of a potential significant deficiency on the subject: Failure to Inspect Conduit Supports. The report was made by Mr. J. A. Wactor.
There was no inspection documentation for a certain type of conduit support designated "C 14".
The bolt holes, bolt torque and thread engagement should have been inspected.
SCE&G has identified and located the C 14 supports, and they are presently being reinspected by the site QC department. We expect to complete the rein-spection by January 30, 1981, and a final report should be issued thereafter.
