.G ra On November 26, 1980, the Applicant, Public Service Com-pany of New Hampshire, mailed certain interrogatories to NECNP to be answered by Dr. Michael Chinnery.

Although we l

forwarded the interrogatories to Dr. Chinnery when we received i

j them, he was out of his office and did not see them until Friday, December 12, 1980.

On that day, he informed us that he woulci be unable to provide a complete response until early January.

We immediately informed Applicant's Counsel of that fact by letter, and we now request permission from the Board to file Dr. Chinnery's answers to the interrogatories on or before January 7, 1981, as permitted by 10 CFR 2.740b(b).
