By Order dated October 27, 1980, thc Board granted the above parties an additional 60 days to complete particularization i
of SOC Contention 19.
In the intervening period, little progress has been made in further narr owing the issues beyond the status reported in the above parties' October 17 Stipulation other than a metting between SOC's cons lt u
ant and staff project manager Wilson on Septenter 30.
This has largely resulted because of the difficulty in producing necessary documentation by LILCO and NRC Staff and the subsequent review by SOC's consultants.
In view of the quantity of materials to be researched

and reviewed before agreement can be reached bn a final Contention, the parties will stipulate to submit a redrafted j

SOC will be submitting a redrafted Contention 19 to Staff and LILCO during the week of December 8 and a stipulation containing the revised Contention 19 will be submitted to the Board shortly thereafter.
This Motion has been reviewed by Staff and LILCO by phone today and they concur in the Motion.
