MEMO 0F TELEPHONE CONVERSATION On July 24, 1979, I spoke with D. Haverkamp assigned to the IE resident team at TMI. When asked about his early involvement with TMI, he furnished the following infonnation:
-- I was in the Reg. I office early on 3/28/79.
-- By 8:45 a.m. I was in George Smith's office.
-- We then went to the R0-I IRC where I stayed all day.
-- When I reported to work on Thursday, 3/29/79, I didn't even know I was supposed to go to the site. There was no sense of emergency that morning when I was told to go to the site.
When asked about Lazarus' role during the early phases, he indicated he was not sure of his status and we would have to talk to him.
