SUBJECT:
CONTAINMENT SAMPLES I have reviewed the Region I incident message forms, and the Field Comunica-tion Log for the period March 28-30, 1979, to determine when the first air or gas samples of the containment building were taken and reported.to NRC.
However early they were taken, this source does not indicate they were available at all for the first three days.
)
My review also revealed no indication nor mention of hydrogen being present in significant quantities in the containment building atmosphere during this period, especially not as early as 8:15 a.m. 3/28/79 in support of Mr. Karl Plumlee's IE testimony.
