g Docket No. 50-320 Reserve Waste 'n'ater Tankage On October 31, 1980, Metropolitan Edison submitted to the NRC a request (TLL 535) tr at Section 2.E.(3) of Operating License No. DPR-73 be amended to delete the requirement that tanka:;e be retained in TMI Unit I available for o' nit 2 water.

The required tankage is now provided by reserv".ng, essentially empty, two (2)

Reactor Coolant Bleed Tanks (Tank 1A of Unit I and Tank 1A of Unit 2), as you were notified on March 31,1980 (TLL 138).

Assuming the NRC approval cf the above amendrent, this letter is to advise you that the required reserve tankage will then be provided in the Unit 2 Reactor Coolant Biced Tank IC and the lower tanks of the Tank Farm.

If conditions change and it develops that other tankage would be more appro-priately reserved, you will be so advised before the change is implemented.
