RESOLUTION:
The Newberry Township Ecard of Supervisors by official resolution hereby officially and formally cppcses Met-Ed's proposed release of Krypten 85 into the atacephere. It is unthinkable that additicnal releases of radioactive gas be per=itted by the NFL regardless of wind directicn, wind vel-ocity, and atmospheric conditions. Newnerry Tcunship residents need more than assurances from a smiling Met-Ed official to persuade them that the releases are within

'Je question whether it is a mere co-incidence that venting the Krypten is also ttle cheapest method of ridding IMI of another problem.
'le questien Met-Ed and the NFL abcut what lies ahead in the proposed clean up? Are scre gases to be vented in the f.iture?
Finally, we question why the technical and scientific experts of America are unable to solve the Krypten problem on Three Mile Island. The whole world is watching to see what the country's nuclear experts decide to do to the down-wind neighbors of Three Mile Island.
The governing bcdy of Newberry Township--thrcugh passing this motion--hopes to prevent our citi:: ens from two to three months of additional mental anguish as we worry about wind speed and wind direction and wender whether Met-Ed released Krypten 35 en us er our neighboring municipalities while we slept.
