To coeplete our response, a copy of Commonwealth Edicon's report entitled, "Coeparison of Dresden Unit 1 Safety System 7
Design to IEEE Standard 279-1968," is enciesed. We also have enclosed Cormonwealth Edison's letter dated January 12, 1976, wnich proposes codifications to the facility to conform with criteria contained in IEEE Standard 279-1968.
j Ee have completed our review of the Commonwealth Edison report and proposed codifications and conclude that Commonwealth Edison has acceptably identified the shortcomings in the plant protection systems at Dresden Unit No. I and that the planned codifications to the facility will provide significant additional protection for the health and safety i-..
