Units 1 and 2), NRC Docket Nos. 50-445A, 50-446A

Dear Chairman Miller:

We are serving today our First S.upplement to Brownsville's Initial Brief, which corrects and paginates the lists of documents which we anticipate may be offered into evidence. We are also hand delivering today to each counsel for Houston, Central and South Uest, Texas Utilities, Justice and NRC a complete set of the documents (over 12 inches) and are inviting requests therefor from other parties.

We, of course, recognize that we are not meeting precisely the trial schedule and methodology as established by the Board, but we think it best to continue to comply as closely and rapidly as possible to shape up our presentation in the hope that the Board will grant some dispensation in the light of all the cir cumstances involved, and that we will not unduly inconvenience the other parties, nor delay the commencement of the trial on the date desired by the Board.

Re rectfully submitted, George Spiegel Attorney for the Public Utilities Board of the City of 3rownsville ,
