The referenced meeting was held at 9:00 a.m. on March 23, 1977. The agenda for the meeting is given in attachment 1.

On November 29, 1577, CECO submitted a Radioloaical Monitoring program for the station an3 requested an early approval of the concept to permit contracted arrangments to be completed for July 1,1917 implementations of the program. Da February 2~.,1977, a letter giving general approval

of the program was sent to. t ECO along with six items which needed further classification and/c modifications (see attachnent 1). This meeting was convened to disccss those items prior to final approval of

John Golden opened the meeting with in overview of the program emphasiz-ing asoects of the program which were relatively caique. Generally this included some efforts which wassmore in the nature of a research program.

Mr. Golden explair.ed the objective of the progran whica included some long range gains for the nuclear industry.

Following Mr. Golden's overview the agenda items were discussed.

Items 2, 4 and 6 were clarified and no further action is needed in those areas.

Items 1, 3 and 5 will require additional infomation to be submitted by CECO. The additional inferention will be submitted late in April to pemit early June action by the staff.

i Cn November 29, 1977, CEC 0 submitted a Radiological Monitoring program for the station and requested an early approval of the concept to permit contracted arrangements to be completed for July 1,1977 implemeritation of the program. On February 25, 1977, a lettar giving general approval of the program was sent to CECO along with s ax items which needed further classification and/or modifications (see attachment 1).

This meeting was convened to discuss those items prinr to final approval of the program.

John Golden opened the meeting with an overview of the program emphasiz-ing aspects of the program which were relatitely unique.

Generally this included some effort which was more in the niture of a research program.

Mr. Golden explained the objective of the program which included some long range gains for the nuclear industry.
