H e Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has found that:

The application for amendment by the Commonwealth Edison Company (the licensee) dated April 23, 1975, complies with the standards l
and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations set forth in 10 CFR Chapter I; B.
n e facility will operate in conformity with the application, the provisions of the Act, and the rules and regulations of the Commission; C.
Here is reasonable assurance (i) that the activities authorized by this amendment can be conducted without endangering the health
- and safety of the public, and (ii) that such activities will be conducted in compliance with the Commission's regulations; D.
n e issuance of this amendment will not be inimical to the common defense and security or to the health and safety of the public; and E.
The receipt, possession, and use of the byproduct naterial as authorized by this license amendment will be in accordance with the Com=ission's regulations in 10 CFR Part 30, including 10 CFR Section 30.33, 2.
Accordingly, Facility Operating License No. DPR-2 is hereby amended to add item (5) to Section 2.B thereof to read as follows:

Pursuant to the Act and 10 CFR Part 30, " Rules of General Applicability to Licensing of Byproduct Materials," to receive, possess, and use in connection with operation of the facility:
(1) 3,775 curies of antiriony 122-124 as sealed sources, not to exceed 1,250 curies each.
(2) 6 curies of americium 241 as a sealed source.
(3) 21 curies of cesium 137 as sealed sources, not to exceed 12 curies each.

This license amendeent is effective as of the date of its issuance.
